Getting Ready at Hotel Bennett
The day began with Kate’s getting ready moments at Hotel Bennett, one of Charleston’s most sophisticated spots. With its grand interiors and a touch of Southern charm, it provided the perfect backdrop for her bridal prep. Kate radiated happiness as she slipped into her stunning gown, ready to meet Matt at the altar. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation, setting the stage for the magical day ahead.
Under the Majestic Oaks at Boone Hall
After leaving the hotel, we made our way to Boone Hall Plantation, where both Kate and Matt’s bridal parties gathered for photos beneath the venue’s iconic oak trees, draped in Spanish moss. The sprawling oaks provided a serene and timeless setting for these special moments. Kate and her bridesmaids twirled beneath the trees, while Matt and his groomsmen shared laughs as they posed for group shots.

When Kate first saw the ceremony setup on the Cotton Dock, her jaw dropped—and for good reason! After the ceremony, we explored the lush grounds of Boone Hall Plantation for bride and groom portraits. Using both my camera and a drone, I captured stunning shots of the newlyweds from all angles. The sweeping aerial views highlighted the grandeur of the plantation, while more intimate, close-up shots showed the deep love between Kate and Matt.
